Tony Cherry was born in Tempe, Arizona and raised in Fallbrook, California, Tony had the advantage of thriving music programs in his public schools. By the end of his secondary education, he was playing several instruments and performing with bands and even as a lounge pianist around Southern California. Singing in the church choir, writing songs and teaching others to sing the harmony parts started to become the favorite pastime.
With some brief stops in Pheonix and Las Vegas, chasing the dream of a full time musician, Tony eventually moved to Oregon to be near his family.
Tony continued to play with several bands and perform whenever and wherever opportunity knocked.
One day in 2005, an offer to play at a contemporary Christian Praise and Worship service changed it all. Finally that feeling of his childhood returned and the music hobbie became a passion.
Tony is now an Award Winning Singer/Songwriter, Recording Artist and Worship Leader for a music ministry called Forged byFaith. He continues to learn and grow in the music craft and in God love.
