Standing Phase comes to us from Brighton, UK. They bring their own unique mix of sound with a blend of Soul, Gospel, and some hints of Funk.
Standing Phase includes Charly Jay-Wood (Artist/Lyricist) and Luis Wood (Musician, Guitarist and Multi-instrumentalist)
Charly initially started her profession playing flute and saxophone for various Funk/Jazz Groups, then at that point, she found she had a voice for singing.
She later joined Luis, while living in New Zealand to make the band “The WoodVille”. They later moved back to Brighton, UK.
From that point forward they have had the chance to work with producer and pianist Mark Edwards and widely acclaimed drummer Troy Mills, who played for Diana Ross. They created two singles ‘Always’ and ‘Fade Away’.
Today they have begun another music journey, that we know as Standing Phase. Presently they are making music with Josh Storm (producer and drummer). Currently they are working on their debut album which ought to be released soon.
